Kid Rock is picking a fight with Taylor Swift, and it's political, with a "twisted oral sex remark" thrown in for good measure, TMZ reports. On Friday, the 48-year-old singer posted a tweet that was immediately called misogynistic and abusive. "Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies....period," Kid tweeted of his 29-year-old counterpart. "And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl."
It's not clear what exactly spurred the slur from Kid, who TMZ notes is a "staunch Trump supporter," but Fox News notes Swift discussed her political views in the September cover story for Vogue, and she wasn't complimentary to the current president (though she didn't mention him by name, it was clear she was referring to Trump). She also explained she didn't publicly endorse Hillary Clinton in 2016 because she feared she'd be a "liability," as Trump would exploit any celebrity endorsements for his opponent.
