Everyone boarding a plane secretly hopes that no one will be seated next to them, opening up a tad more elbowroom and space for magazines, purses, and other personal items. For Vincent Peone, he didn't have to worry one bit about sharing space on his Delta flight from Aspen, Colo., to Salt Lake City—the movie director was the sole passenger on the plane, People reports. Being the filmmaker that he is, Peone shared his odd experience Monday on Twitter via a documentary video of sorts, starting with the gate agent summoning the "only passenger" to step up for boarding. "In your professional experience, has anyone ever flown alone?" Peone queries an airport worker as she walks him across the tarmac to his awaiting jet. "Yes, they have—sorry," she replies to a disappointed Peone.

His short clip also shows crew piling sandbags onto the plane to add weight to compensate for the dearth of passengers, as well as a flight attendant offering him his own personalized greeting: "Good evening, Vincent, and welcome aboard!" Peone says his original flight had been rescheduled, leading to him flying solo due to some "glitch in the matrix," per the Washington Post. He notes it was "an altogether very fun experience with a couple of tequila sodas involved." Delta has responded online to Peone's detailing of his journey. "Hi Vincent!" the airline tweeted later Monday. "That looks like an awesome experience! Thank you for the shoutout, and we truly appreciate you for choosing Delta! Take care."
