(Newser) – A Fox News poll showing President Trump behind the four leading Democratic candidates is evidence that there is something wrong with Fox News, according to the president. Trump, formerly very cozy with the network, slammed Fox over the poll results Sunday, saying he simply doesn't believe them, the Hill reports. "There's something going on at Fox, I’ll tell you right now. And I'm not happy with it," he said, adding: "Fox has changed. My worst polls have always been from Fox." In a tweet Sunday, Trump attacked Fox political analyst Juan Williams as "pathetic" and "nasty." He later said Williams "has never said a positive thing," though he added that he was "certainly happy" with Fox hosts like Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity.

The Fox poll showed Trump behind Joe Biden and Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Kamala Harris in possible 2020 matchups, with the president 12 points behind Biden, the front-runner. According to the poll, Warren has moved ahead of Sanders and is now in second place among likely Democratic primary voters. Trump told reporters Sunday that Fox is making a "big mistake" and claimed he was "the one that calls the shots on that—on the really big debates." This was incorrect, Politico notes: The nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debates has sponsored general election debates since 1988. Trump also attacked the New York Times in another tweet Sunday, saying the newspaper has "Zero credibility" and predicting that it "will be out of business soon after I leave office, hopefully in 6 years. I’m fairly certain they’ll endorse me just to keep it all going!" (Read more Trump 2020 stories.)
