If you thought Saturday Night Live would politely ignore President Trump's impeachment inquiry in the premiere of its 45th season, well ... you'd be out of your ever-loving mind, sparky. Alec Baldwin returned Saturday night as the commander in chief in question, NBC reports, frantically manning the phones to the likes of Kate McKinnon, who as Rudy Giuliani advised Trump that "Nobody is going to find out about our illegal side dealings with the Ukraine. Or how we tried to cover up those side dealings. Or how we tried to cover up the cover up." Trump romps through several other cast members and one unexpected cameo on his way to opening the show. Other than the cameo, however, the Washington Post notes that "nothing about it was surprising in the least ... signaling that we’re in for more business as usual this season." Woody Harrelson was guest host and Billie Eilish was musical guest. (More Saturday Night Live stories.)
