Saturday Night Live went a little Hamilton in its latest episode, and continued to rely heavily on celebrity cameos, but this week left President Trump alone and spoofed Democratic presidential candidates' appearance in an LGBTQ town hall earlier this week in its Cold Open. Billy Porter from Pose announced the candidates, who included cameos from Lin-Manuel Miranda as Julian Castro ("As a Democrat, I want to apologize for not being gay. But I promise to do better in the future.") and Woody Harrelson returning as Joe Biden ("I’m glad you asked that question, and let me answer by telling you a false memory."), notes the Washington Post, though Kate McKinnon's Elizabeth Warren shone ("I had some apple slices backstage, and they are hitting me like cocaine."). David Harbour guest-hosted, and Camila Cabello was musical guest. (More Saturday Night Live stories.)
