Donald Trump Jr. is making the rounds to promote his new book, Triggered, and he may well have expected to encounter protesters—but the ones that forced him out of a book launch event Sunday were from the right, not the left. KTVU notes most of the anti-Trump protesters at UCLA, where Trump Jr. appeared with his girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, were gathered outside with banners and placards. But the troubles inside came mostly from far-right supporters who became miffed about 20 minutes into the appearance when they found out the couple wouldn't take questions due to "time constraints," per the Guardian. "You're not making your parents proud by being rude and disruptive," Guilfoyle admonished students in the crowd who were yelling "Q&A!" "America first!" chanted the crowd in a video posted by Nick Fuentes, showing Trump Jr. finally leaving the stage.

The Guardian notes the outrage mostly seemed to emerge from supporters of Fuentes, an ultra-conservative activist who often criticizes Turning Point USA and its founder, Charlie Kirk; TPUSA is one of the sponsors of Trump Jr.'s book tour. Fuentes posted a clarifying follow-up after posting his video, standing up for Trump Jr., whom he called "a patriot." "We are supporters of his father!" Fuentes tweeted. "Our problem is with Charlie Kirk's TPUSA organization that SHUTS DOWN and SMEARS socially conservative Christians and supporters of President Trump's agenda. We are AMERICA FIRST!" Fox News notes Trump Jr. later made a stop at the Reagan Library. "Thank you Reagan Library for an amazing evening!" he tweeted. "4 hours and 1400+ people later, we just wrapped! Unlike some, this show stays HIGH ENERGY!" (More Donald Trump Jr. stories.)
