If you forgot to check your ticket for the June 5 drawing of Arizona's "The Pick" lottery, don't bother. The holder of the ticket with all six correct numbers, purchased at a Circle K store in Goodyear, failed to present themselves before the 5pm Monday deadline, missing out on a whopping $14.6 million prize. "It's hard to see that not get claimed," a lottery rep told NBC News as the 180-day deadline came to an end. Spokesman John Gilliland said it was the largest unclaimed jackpot in the lottery's history, easily dwarfing a $4 million prize unclaimed in 1999. Some of the prize money will fund local programs. KTAR reports $835,000 will go to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, while $250,000 will go to a program benefiting Native American education. (Read more lottery stories.)
