Here Are Your Grammy Winners

The Grammy Awards telecast is typically chock-full of performances and skimpy on actual awards handed out (dozens of them are given out before the televised ceremony begins), and Sunday night's 2020 ceremony was no different: After Lizzo opened the show, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani performed; Alicia Keys did a musical monologue; the Jonas Brothers performed; and finally, thirty minutes in, an award was handed out: Lizzo won for best pop solo performance. Next up? Another performance, of course, this one from Tyler, the Creator. And then:

• The ceremony's second award, best country duo/group performance, went to Dan + Shay for "Speechless."
• Usher then took the stage with a Prince tribute.
• Camila Cabello performed, singing directly to her father in the audience.
• The next performance was from Tanya Tucker, who then presented the best comedy album award (alongside Brandi Carlile) to Dave Chappelle, who was not in attendance.
• Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish and brother Finneas, and Aerosmith then performed.
• Tyler, the Creator won best rap album.

• Lil Nas X, along with some special guests including Billy Ray Cyrus, performed "Old Town Road."
• Demi Lovato then took the stage to perform "Anyone," and an emotional Lovato had to have the song restarted after getting choked up at the beginning. (She wrote the song days before her overdose.) When she finished, she got a standing ovation.
• Following a tribute performance honoring Nipsey Hussle, Rosalia took the stage for her performance.
• Song of the year went to Billie Eilish O'Connell and Finneas O'Connell for "Bad Guy." Eilish is the youngest person ever to win the award.
• Keys performed with Brittany Howard, and then Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne presented the award for best rap/sung performance to DJ Khaled for "Higher," featuring Nipsey Hussle and John Legend.
• Performances from H.E.R., Bonnie Raitt, and Gary Clark Jr., came before the In Memoriam segment.
• The final three awards of the night started getting handed out with just six minutes supposedly left to go on the telecast. Best new artist went to Billie Eilish, then there was a performance ("I Sing the Body Electric" from Fame) related to the presentation of the Grammy Trustees Award to Frank Buckley Walker, Ken Ehrlich, and Philip Glass and it became clear the telecast was not actually going to end at 11:30pm Eastern.
• Album of the year went to, yet again, Eilish. (At 11:36pm Eastern, for those keeping track at home.)
