(Newser) – The Earl and Countess of Snowdon are splitting up after 26 years of marriage. Queen Elizabeth II's nephew, David Armstrong-Jones, and his wife, Serena, are the second royal couple to announce their divorce within a week, following the Queen's eldest grandson and his Canadian wife. The earl and countess "amicably agreed that their marriage has come to an end," according to a Monday statement, per the BBC.

Armstrong-Jones—the son of the queen's sister, Princess Margaret, and photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones, both deceased—is 21st in line to the British throne. The furniture designer, 58, married Serena Stanhope, 49, in St. Margaret's Church next to Westminster Abbey in Oct. 1993, per USA Today. They have two children: Viscount Linley, Charles Armstrong-Jones, 20, and Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones, 17. (Read more Royal Family stories.)
