In one of the more awesome Super Tuesday moments, Jill Biden and Symone Sanders united to act as Joe Biden's bodyguards during a Los Angeles rally Tuesday night. An anti-dairy protester rushed the stage but was quickly blocked by Jill Biden and Sanders, who's a senior adviser to Joe Biden's campaign, ABC News reports. Jill Biden initially put herself between a first protester and her husband; a security guard stopped that one. When the second one came onstage, Jill Biden pushed her away from Joe; Sanders then tackled her and dragged her offstage with the help of other staffers, the Washington Post reports.

Video of the incident quickly went viral on social media. Amy Schumer narrated a play-by-play of the whole thing, and many called for the women to be nominated for Joe Biden's VP or secretary of defense, or simply to be recruited to an NFL team. Sanders tweeted simply, "I broke a nail." One sample of Twitter praise: "As lunatic protestors [sic] rushed the stage tonight, we saw Dr. Jill Biden and Joe's younger sister surround him without thinking and his senior advisor [sic] Symone Sanders literally tackled one. Who needs secret service detail when you have a group of powerful women?" (Although many are, in fact, calling for Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders to get Secret Service protection at this point in the campaign.) Jill Biden also blocked a heckler from getting close to her husband last month and gave credit to her upbringing: "I’m a good Philly girl." (More Jill Biden stories.)
