Americans are buzzing about Tuesday night's hot mess of a debate—and that group includes President Trump. The president took to Twitter late Wednesday morning with comments on moderator Chris Wallace and rival Joe Biden. Of Fox News host Wallace, Trump retweeted a New York Times post on how Wallace "repeatedly struggled to keep the proceedings coherent" and was "reduced at times to pleading with the president to pause." Trump's thoughts: "Chris had a tough night. Two on one was not surprising, but fun," which Politico sees as Trump saying Wallace teamed up with Biden against him. The tweet continues, "Many important points made, like throwing Bernie, AOC PLUS 3, and the rest, to the wolves! Radical Left is dumping Sleepy Joe. Zero Democrat enthusiasm, WEAK Leadership!"

It wasn't Trump's only tweet about Wallace, with Politico pointing out that in the hours after the debate Trump retweeted some tweets critical of Wallace and posted an image that indicated the night was a battle of Trump vs. Wallace and Biden. Here's some of what else the president had to say about Biden on Wednesday:

  • "Nobody wants Sleepy Joe as a leader, including the Radical Left (which he lost last night!). He disrespected Bernie, effectively calling him a loser!" (here)
  • "Biden REFUSED to use the term, LAW & ORDER! There go the Suburbs." (here)
