A court filing from Angelina Jolie Tuesday includes shocking new details on the incident on a plane that ended her marriage to Brad Pitt. According to the filing, Pitt "choked one of the children and struck another in the face" and "grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her" during the Sept. 2016 flight from France to California on a private plane, the New York Times reports. The filing states that at one point, "he poured beer on Jolie; at another, he poured beer and red wine on the children." An FBI report Jolie obtained under a Freedom of Information Act request this year stated that there had been "tension" between Pitt and one of the couple's six children before the voyage and Pitt started ranting and "screaming" at the children during the flight.

The filing states that Jolie grabbed Pitt to get him away from the children. "To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane’s seats injuring Jolie’s back and elbow," the filing states, per Page Six. "The children rushed in and all bravely tried to protect each other. Before it was over, Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face. Some of the children pleaded with Pitt to stop." Jolie filed for divorce days after the flight. The FBI report said it was "agreed by all parties that criminal charges in this case would not be pursued due to several factors," though Jolie's filing states that the investigating agent concluded there was "probable cause to charge Pitt with a federal crime," the Times reports.

There has been no comment yet from Pitt, who has admitted shouting at the children but has denied hitting them. The filing was part of a countersuit from Jolie against a lawsuit Pitt filed earlier this year over the French winery Chateau Miraval. Pitt claimed Jolie had violated an agreement when she sold her half of their controlling stake in the winery to a third party without his consent. In Tuesday's filing, Jolie said talks broke down over Pitt's demand for an NDA "that would have contractually prohibited her from speaking outside of court about Pitt’s physical and emotional abuse of her and their children."
