Anne Hathaway could be drawn into the scandal surrounding her ex-boyfriend. The FBI has seized the actress’ diaries, looking for evidence in the fraud investigation against Raffaello Follieri. They also confiscated personal photos of the pair, along with other documents, a Tiffany clock, watches, and an antique Bible. Hathaway hasn’t been accused of anything, and has cut off all contact with Follieri.

Hathaway has changed all her numbers to prevent her ex from calling, and the dashing Italian is starting to wonder whether his former squeeze helped put him behind bars. “Raffaello is doing very badly,” said one friend. “He says people are abusing him. He’s a broken man.” Prosecutors say he’s considering a plea deal, which one source called “very fishy” because he hasn’t been indicted yet. (More Anne Hathaway stories.)
