(Newser) – Peace on earth is all well and good, but this whole business of needing "a little Christmas" has gotten out of hand, grouses Dodai Stewart of Jezebel. She lists 10 things that are rubbing her the wrong way:

  • Eggnog: "Disgusting."
  • Fruitcake: "See previous item."

  • Christmas carols: Enough already. She doesn't want to hear them "in the grocery store, in the cab, in the manicure place, at the Chinese takeout place, in commercials, and as my super's ringtone."
  • "Religious and racial tension": "I am black. But. Please don't wish me Happy Kwanzaa."
  • Gift drama: "Your mind gets in a weird place, when you're shopping, and you start thinking anything, ANYTHING would be a great gift."
