Australia's Croatian community today condemned a gang of young Croatian neo Nazis who have been chanting ethnic slurs, spitting and giving Hitler salutes at the Australian Tennis Open. Their actions give "the whole community a bad name," said a spokesman. Two members of the group face murder charges in an unrelated confrontation, the Herald Sun reports.

The group's behavior and their violent ties left many calling for a ban on Tennis louts.
A rep from a different organization denounced the Herald Sun's coverage as a "predictable" and "hysterical" portrayal of the Croatian community. No "other community in the history of this country has been (as) vilified repeatedly," she said.
