Jack Nicholson and Val Kilmer may have attended Dennis Hopper’s funeral—but Hopper’s own daughter, 7-year-old Galen, was “disinvited.” At least, that's what a friend of Galen’s mother—and Hopper’s estranged wife—Victoria Duffy says. A source on Hopper’s side, of course, calls that claim “so much bullshit.” One thing is certain: Duffy wasn’t welcome at the funeral, and she didn’t allow Galen to attend without her.

Though Hopper’s camp asked Duffy to send Galen with a nanny, Duffy’s camp says the request was made just “hours” before the funeral—and that it would be “insane” to send the child without her mother. A source on Hopper’s side, however, says Duffy is just “using Galen as a pawn.” The Daily Beast goes into more detail regarding the Hoppers’ crazy divorce—and the looming battle over his estate.
