NFL kicker Harrison Butker has been taking all kinds of criticism after voicing his views on women—suggesting they should be homemakers first and foremost. However, it's a safe bet the Kansas City Chiefs player didn't expect to show up in the annual video put out by rival Los Angeles Chargers to announce the upcoming season schedule. The Chargers' video has a Sims theme, and at the 2:55 mark, a Butker avatar (wearing his No. 7) is seen toiling away in the kitchen, cleaning, and arranging flowers, reports People.

Being "able to quickly turn around putting Harrison Butker in the kitchen after all of his comments was A+ trolling," says podcaster and former player Mike Golic Jr., per NBC News. "The Chargers have been the gold standard for this for a while now because their team allows them to take shots at their opponent." In his commencement speech at Benedictine College, a Catholic school, Butker said women had been told "diabolical lies" about their role in society:

  • "How many of you are sitting here now about to cross this stage and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career?" he said, per CNN. "Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world." He also praised his wife, Isabelle, saying she "would be the first to say her life truly started when she began living her vocation as a wife and as a mother."
The league itself has distanced itself from Butker's speech, saying his "views are not those of the NFL as an organization." (More San Diego Chargers stories.)
