MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican officials are confirming the arrest of alleged cartel capo Hector Beltran Leyva.

Federal chief of criminal investigations Tomas Zeron says Beltran Leyva was taken into custody Wednesday at a restaurant in the city of San Miguel Allende.

Zeron says the arrest was the result of an 11-month investigation.
