GALION, Ohio (AP) — The bride of an Ohio man who was killed in a double-fatal crash hours after their wedding doesn't want to see the friend who was driving go to prison.

Timothy Tebbe was indicted Wednesday on six charges, including aggravated vehicular homicide and vehicular assault, according to Wyandot County records. The Oct. 12 crash that killed Andrew Bloomfield, 27, of Galion and a female friend, Elizabeth Shelton. Tebbe and the bride, Ruth Bloomfield, were also badly hurt, authorities said.

Ruth Bloomfield said she understands the charges against Tebbe, but believes he has suffered enough with the loss of his two friends.

"He already has to deal with it for the rest of his life," the bride told WBNS-TV.

But Wyandot County Sheriff Michael Hetzel has said that alcohol may have contributed to the crash, and investigators believe that speed was the major factor.

"We have every reason to believe it was three-digit speeds," Hetzel said.

Bloomfield has said the vehicle wasn't traveling anywhere near 100 mph and that she just wants to focus on the good memories from that day.

"Yes, I lost a husband, but I'm making it," she said.

Hetzel has said that the four had gone to Tebbe's house in the village of Nevada and were returning to the wedding reception at a private barn. The truck drove off the left side of the road and struck an embankment and a utility pole before rolling several times and coming to rest in a cornfield, the sheriff's office said. Investigators don't believe anyone was wearing a seat belt.

Shelton, 26, was dead at the scene, and Andrew Bloomfield died later at a hospital.

Court records do not list an attorney for Tebbe.
