KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — Doctors Without Borders has increased the death toll from the deadly bombing of its hospital compound in the northern Afghan city of Kunduz to 22.

The international medical charity says that three more injured patients from the hospital have died, bringing the total to 10 dead patients and 12 dead DWB staff members.

The U.S. and Afghan government have vowed to investigate the incident and a U.S. military spokesman says it is possible that the hospital came under fire from U.S.-NATO coalition aircraft.
