Hooligans injure 7 in attack on train in Serbia

Serbia's state railway company says masked hooligans have attacked one of its trains, looting and harassing the passengers and injuring seven people.

Zeleznice Srbije company said in a statement Thursday that five attackers armed with guns, bars, batons and chains broke into the train at one of the stations on the outskirts of Belgrade, the country's capital.

The statement said five passengers and two railway employees were injured in the attack, which happened Wednesday evening. It said the group fled after the attack.

Police said they are investigating.
