Lou Dobbs rose to star status at CNN while railing against illegal immigrants—and especially those who hired them. Which means the result of a yearlong investigation by the Nation could make for uncomfortable reading among his supporters: "Dobbs has relied for years on undocumented labor for the upkeep of his multimillion-dollar estates and the horses he keeps for his 22-year-old daughter, Hillary, a champion show jumper." The subtle headline: "Lou Dobbs, American Hypocrite."

The former anchor and possible presidential contender didn't comment for the piece, which makes the case that Dobbs contracts out the care of the horses—they cost $1 million apiece—to third parties that employ undocumented workers. (Dobbs has railed against that practice, too.) He'll get a very public chance to respond this weekend when he gives his second big Tea Party address of the year, this time in Virginia. Click here to read the detailed, well-written piece—based in part on interviews with five illegal immigrants who worked on his property—in its entirety.
