Security Scare Forces Flight Evacuation in Philly
Authorities search a plane on a closed runway at Philadelphia International Airport in Philadelphia, Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010.   (Matt Rourke)

Authorities are looking for someone who may have improperly gained access to the tarmac at Philadelphia's airport, prompting passengers to be removed from a US Airways flight to Bermuda. An FBI spokesman says the incident doesn't appear to have any connection to terrorism. Police say initial reports from the scene indicate a person lacking a security badge was helping load the plane. When co-workers approached him, he left the scene and remains unaccounted for. Authorities swept the aircraft for explosives and later cleared it for takeoff. (More Philadelphia stories.)
