New twist on an old tale: Boy meets girl, girl dumps boy, boy posts naked photo of girl on Facebook and goes to jail. A New Zealand judge sentenced 20-year-old Joshua Ashby to 4 months in prison for his "irresponsible drunken jealous rage," which included a texted threat to kill her. But he singled out the Facebook posting, which Ashby made available for everyone to see after changing his ex's password, reports Stuff.co.nz.

"Technology can't be used in this way," said the judge. "You would do incalculable damage to someone's reputation." Even Ashby's parents had no problem with the sentence and hoped it would deter others from the "dark side" of Facebook. Says his mom: "Maybe when someone thinks about doing it they'll remember someone got sent to prison for that and they'll say: `Oh my God, I'm not going to do that.'"
