(Newser) – A Connecticut man who was arrested in 2008 is now suing the arresting officer … who he claims stole sexually explicit photos and videos off his phone. William Vasilakos was arrested on a breach-of-peace charge and had his cell phone confiscated. When he got it back, he noticed eight of his emails, containing the racy pictures of him and his girlfriend, had been forwarded; Vasilakos accuses Officer Michael Presti of forwarding them to himself and at least one other person, the AP reports.

“They were deeply in love and they had memorialized that love in a way that they thought was appropriate, and the officer treated them like a couple of porn stars,” says Vasilakos’ lawyer.
