(AP Photo/Sugarloaf USA, File) (Newser) – Several people were injured when a ski lift broke at a Maine ski resort today, sending their chairs plunging about 30 feet to the ground. None of the injuries appear to be life-threatening. All 200 or so people who had been trapped on the lift at the Sugarloaf resort have been safely brought down, reports CNN.
