Unless this is an elaborate hoax, a tech-savvy girl has gotten a very new-fashioned sort of revenge on her old flame—via Google. She manipulated the search function so it coughs up repeated images of him when his name is typed in, each with a mocking (and sometimes pretty nasty) message, reports Search Engine Roundtable. She apparently used this site to create a meme of him, notes Gawker.

"Lesson? Before you upset your girlfriend or boyfriend, make sure they do not know how Google works," writes Barry Schwartz at Search Engine Roundtable. (He's got a technical explanation of how she pulled off the stunt here.) To read the plea for help to a Google forum by the victim's mother, click here. (More ex-girlfriends stories.)
