It would be funny or maybe even entertaining if the comments of this blowhard weren't taken so seriously by so many. He knows how to hit the buttons regardless if what he says have any facts. He'll tell you he's only a commentator and this is his opinion, but to too many his words are taken like Gospel. I know people who put on headphones while sitting at the pool relaxing and listening to Rush. By the time he's done there's so revved up they are looking for an argument with anyone who might disagree. We are already seeing friends, neighbors, relatives and fellow workers are riled up and ready to argue. Wow, this is not the place I grew up and not the place our parents grew up. And all the while old Rush is making millions by peddling hate. And you thought it was all about the economy, no sorry to say, it's about power, Rush's own greed and his need to be the all powerful one.

The earth has 57.3 million square miles of land. The population is rapidly approaching seven billion people. If you assume that around 50% of the earth is not habitable (mountains, Antarctica, Greenland, deserts, etc.), you get a present population density of 244 people per square mile. Assuming it would be nice to leave a little space for elephants, chickens, cows, Yorkies, spiders, etc., and further assuming it would be nice to maintain some cultivatable land for the growing of food, the earth seems to be getting a tad crowded. If mankind is to escape soylent green as a food staple, we might want to embrace Planned Parenthood.
