Bristol's Memoir: Not Afraid of Life

How much will she spill?

(Newser) – Bristol Palin is writing a memoir after all—daringly called Not Afraid of Life—and besides some dope on her famous mom, the tome will include a bit of dish on Dancing With the Stars and two-time Bristol heartbreaker Levi Johnston. It looked for a time like Bristol's memoir, posted briefly then yanked from Amazon.com, was just a rumor. But now publisher William Morrow has promised the book will be out this spring and will give readers "an inside look at her life," reports the New York Daily News.

The book will include details of Bristol's childhood in Alaska and her "coming of age amid the media frenzy surrounding her mother's political rise," said the publisher's statement. It will also address being a teenage single mom and Bristol's struggle to cope "as her relationship with her baby's father crumbled publicly—not once, but twice," the statement adds. The 304-page book, priced at $25.95, will also cover the "highs and lows" of Bristol's stint on Dancing With the Stars, including "the aching hours of practice, the biting criticisms, and the thrill of getting to the show's finals."

A book about the daughter of Sarah Palin is about as interesting as a book about how to watch paint dry, I have socks that have had more interesting life experiences.

Well you will have to forgive my lack of interest in the memoir of the random child of a reality TV show mom who popped out a kid before she could legally drink. Wow, congrats, you have absolutely no life experience that is worth hearing about. Whoohoo, you got all prego at 17 and did DWTS where you "banned" the cast of an MTV show about people (girls) just like you. It is nice to see that stupidity is a very strong family trait.

I suppose I really can't blame her for striking while the iron is hot. She's having a book ghost-written for her, which will earn her thousands and thousands of dollars from the same brain-dead idiots that bought her mother's books. And the book will be just like her. No substance to it at all. An empty head yields an empty book.
