Despite a season high 25 points for Shaquille O'Neal, and a lead that grew as large as twelve points, the Miami Heat remain winless after last night, thanks largely to the efforts of Steve Nash. The two time MVP went on a tear late in the fourth, scoring 11 straight unanswered points, lifting Phoenix past the struggling Heat 106-101.

Nash was aided by strong efforts from Shawn Marion, who had 17 points and 24 rebounds for Phoenix, and Barbosa and Bell, who had 17 and 16 points respectively.  Nash finished the night with 30 points and eight assists. Miami lead by five with 4:53 to play before Nash took over. The Heat are now 0-5 on the season. (More basketball stories.)
