The 49ers and Seahawks each had two turnovers in last night's matchup, and that was the only equal stat in an embarrassingly lopsided game. The Seahawks, who won 24-0, racked up twice as many yards and controlled the ball twice as long as the Niners, who had just one first down in the first half, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck completed 27 of 40 passes for 278 yards. Alex Smith completed 114 interception-free yards for San Francisco, 45 of those coming on a (fruitless) Hail Mary pass to end the first half. This loss marks the seventh straight for the Niners, and came the day after coach Mike Nolan's father, a former 49ers coach himself, passed away. (More NFL stories.)
