(Newser) – Five American troops have been killed in an Iraq rocket attack, according to Iraqi security officials. Three or more rockets hit an Iraqi base in Baghdad this morning where the troops were living as advisers, they say. The US military had earlier acknowledged five troops were killed but offered no details, the AP reports. The incident marks the single largest loss of life for American troops in Iraq since May 2009, when five were killed in a non-combat incident. According to AP's count, 4,459 American service members have died in Iraq.

We have george w. bush to thank for the lives of thousands of dead U.S. servicemen, and thousands of citizens lives which he took a pledge to protect.I can only find 13 countries in which there leaders warned us of attacks coming, on august 6th 2001 they were told that the attacks were coming in the first week of september, using hijacked planes. That explains why NORAD was on vacation that week, and why bush was hiding behind school children in florida, with ground to air missles. We elect the brave in America?

Iraq is down from 130K troops to 45K.  They are still on track to leave Iraq on time.  They started coming out in 2010, fancygapva.  It takes time to bring the troops home and then Iraq security forces have to replace the Americans at the same time.   And bewilderbeast where did he lie?  <:-)
