(Newser) – Nirvana's Nevermind turns 20 this September (yep, it has been 20 years and yes, you are old). So Universal thought it only right to celebrate the multi-platinum album by issuing a remastered version of it—as part of a massive set that includes four CDs and one DVD. The set, to be released on Sept. 19, will feature rare B-sides, BBC radio appearances, previously unreleased concert footage, and even unreleased tracks, reports SPIN, which named Nevermind one of the greatest albums of the 1990s.

They had better dirty up the master instead of polish it, or no one will be happy. Well, except maybe record execs. Cobain hated the sound of that album, and compared to In Utero, I agree.

"(yep, it has been 20 years and yes, you are old)" **shakes fist at the uncaring face of reality**
