(AP) – Hosni Mubarak's lawyer and state television are reporting that the ousted Egyptian president has suffered a stroke and is in a coma. However, a medical official at the hospital where Mubarak has been held under arrest denied the report and said his condition is stable. Farid el-Deeb, Mubarak's lawyer, said today that doctors were working to bring the 83-year-old Mubarak back to consciousness.

He's done for.  As I had to inform my mother, when you have a stroke in your eighties, the nursing home is your next logical move.  How many people have you met who had a stroke at that age, that recovered?
