(Newser) – Welcome to the presidential campaign trail of 2011, Governor Perry. An Austin political activist and Ron Paul supporter has placed a full-page ad in a local alternative weekly asking, "Have you ever had sex with Rick Perry?," reports Salon. The ad asks for stories from strippers, escorts, "or just a 'young hottie'," promising to publicize stories that reveal Perry to be a "'family values' hypocrite and fraud."

Sponsored by Committee Against Sexual Hypocrisy (CASH), the organization is really just the work of Robert Morrow, a Texas Republican. "Is it a real group? No. It's just me," said Morrow, who similarly targeted Hillary Clinton in 2008, claiming she covered up a rape committed by her husband. The Perry ad also includes this line: "Note to gay people: If you know the truth about Rick, please QUIT covering for him." Click for more and to see the ad.
