A Palo Alto woman provides a rare glimpse at the private side of her world-famous neighbor, a guy by the name of Steve Jobs. But Lisen Stromberg isn't dishing up dirt. Instead, she offers a sweet tribute to Jobs as a regular dad in the neighborhood, attending backyard pool parties and school meetings, and even putting on a top-notch haunted garden for Halloween. He also remembered names and took the time to say hi, "proving he may be a genius, but he is also a good neighbor," she writes at her blog.

Stromberg isn't caught up in the business tributes pouring in about Jobs. Instead, she's remembering "the day I saw him at his son’s high school graduation," she writes. "There Steve stood, tears streaming down his cheeks, his smile wide and proud, as his son received his diploma and walked on into his own bright future leaving behind a good man and a good father who can be sure of the rightness of this, perhaps his most important legacy of all."
