Racing champ gains trophy, loses fiancee

(Newser) – Helio Castroneves may have won big in "Dancing With the Stars" but he's lost his fiancee, AP reports. Aliette Vasquez announced she'd called off their engagement less than a day after the Brazilian Indy 500 champ won the mirrorball trophy in the show's grand finale.  The Miami businesswoman's agent said there were no hard feelings.

Rumors are now swirling around that romance is in the air between Helio and dance partner Julianne Hough— especially after the pair's big kiss at the end of their winning quickstep routine. The 19-year-old dancer, who called off her own engagement earlier this year, said there was nothing between her and the winner—just like last year, when similar rumors popped up after she partnered in the contest with Apolo Anton Ohno.
