(Newser) – A video of Elizabeth Warren beating up Republican allegations of "class warfare" is going viral, with gleeful liberals passing it around (and this image transcribing her comments). "There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody," Warren declares. "You built a factory out there? Good for you. But I want to be clear: you moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for; you hired workers the rest of us paid to educate; you were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for."

"Now look, you built a factory and it turned into something terrific, or a great idea? God bless. Keep a big hunk of it," she continued. "But part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and pay forward." The video is notable, Greg Sargent of the Washington Post writes, because it shows that Warren will "test the electoral limits of true populism" in a way that most Democrats haven't. "As this video shows, Warren is very good at making the case for progressive economics in simple, down-to-Earth terms."

Who is the rest of us? The 51% of people that pay NO TAXES at all? I see you are trying to blame George Bush, how about Obama Care that is UNCONSTITUTIONAL and ILLEGAL? How about a jobs program that did not exist yet it cost the American tax payer 1 Trillion Dollars, and the jobs it did create cost hundreds of thousands of dollars per job.... Now Obama wants another 600 Million for another non existent jobs program. Who pays for that? You want to tax the middle class more and call them the rich because they had the guts to start a business. So when there are no more jobs, no housing, no food, and the only people who will have any will be the corrupt politicians.

What's REALLY hilarious is that this argument is basically a Randian argument put forth in Atlas Shrugged, where the author claims the concept that without the captains of industry, society collapses. Without the big minds, society collapses. Warren says, without the government, society collapses. And right wingers the boards over call her an idiot and left wingers celebrate her. Fine. But, everybody ought stop a minute and take a look at how ridiculous all of our infighting really is.

Never saw a liberal who denied that they were involved in class warfare who wasn't spewing class warfare with every other sentence they spoke.
