(Newser) – Tina Fey is the highest-paid woman on television, but she’ll have to share the top spot with a Desperate Housewife. Forbes’ annual ranking covers the period between May 2010 and May 2011, during which the top 10 ladies made a total of $94 million, and includes salaries, syndication deals, and endorsement deals. The top five:

  • Tina Fey, 30 Rock: $13 million
  • Eva Longoria, Desperate Housewives: $13 million
  • Marcia Cross, Desperate Housewives: $10 million
  • Mariska Hargitay, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: $10 million
  • Marg Helgenberger, CSI: $10 million

All of the women mentioned in the above article are insignificant. Jesus accomplished more during his time on earth. Question: Do any of these women help the poor?  They all have massive bank accounts. Poverty is rampant all over the world.

The writing on the first few years of 30-Rock was brilliant, but as Tina Fey has become successful the show has suffered. No mater the medium it is really hard to prevent success from ruining your own art.

Considering that she created the show, is one of the stars, that it's on one of the "Big 3" and that it's heavily syndicated, I'm frankly surprised that Tina Fey doesn't make more per year...
