As President Obama prepares to honor the legendary 1985 Chicago Bears, one player is having none of it. Defensive tackle Dan Hampton says he has three reasons for not going to the Oct. 7 event, USA Today reports: First, families aren’t invited. “Secondly, I'm not a fan of the guy in the White House,” he told Chicago’s WLS radio. “And, third, it was 25 years ago. Let it go. To say, 'Let’s put the band back together.' No, I’m not in." The team's post-Super Bowl win ceremony was originally scuttled because of the Challenger disaster.
