Generation X had it tough too: Mat Honan

(Newser) – Mat Honan has a message seemingly directed at the current generation occupying Wall Street and feeling sorry for itself: “Generation X is sick of your bullshit.” A recent New York article claimed this might be the first generation to end up worse off than its parents: “Please. Been there,” retorts Honan on Gizmodo. “Generation X was told that so many times that it can't even read those words without hearing Winona Ryder's voice in its heads.”

“Generation X is tired of your sense of entitlement,” he continues. After all, that generation also graduated during a recession, suffered through crappy jobs, and lost money in the dot-com bust, all while actually paying for its music. Today, “Generation X is tired,” Honan concludes. It “wishes it had better health insurance and a deeper savings account.” Mostly, it wants a minute to be left alone to think and have a beer. “Can you just do that, OK? It knows that you are so very special and so very numerous, but can you just leave it alone? Just for a little bit?”

Gen X has experienced Capitalism and No regulations on credit cards or banks...Anyone really think those 2 things are working? NOPE.  Sincerely Generation X.  I would like to thank the 1 percent for there generosity and bonuses to the hard working people below you.  I love living paycheck to paycheck.  I love the fact that I went to school and have no job that pertains to my college education.  I love the fact that it takes 2 incomes to live!!! I love the fact that the generations before us has put a price on LIFE. Work hard enough and you too could be a CEO!!! FUCK THAT!

this is called capitalism, maybe some of you have not heard of this but this what our country is founded on, sorry that some of you are lazy and do not have jobs, but protesting is not change, you are lazy and expecting others to do your work, all protesting is, is a suggestion
