(NEWSER) - Nick Cannon is apparently doing something of a media blitz following the birth of his twins, Moroccan and Monroe . Or, as he calls them on E! , "Roc and Roe." Yes, really. More highlights:

• He admits the names might seem a bit odd ("When you first hear it, it's kind of funny because ... you don't know which one's the boy and which one's the girl"), but says "once you kind of let it sit for a minute, you can understand the whole thing."
• Moroccan is "a strong name" with an added bonus: It's "kind of like my name and Mariah's name phonetically together," Cannon says. "I think we did a good job on the names. They ain't gonna be mad at us when they grow up."

(NEWSER) - Mariah Carey gave birth to a set of twins on Saturday, and their names have finally been revealed. And with names like Moroccan and Monroe, good luck guessing which is the boy and which is the girl. Carey's website reveals that only one has a middle name, which sheds a little light on the matter: Mariah and Nick Cannon's son is Moroccan Scott Cannon; Scott is Nick's middle name and the maiden name of his grandmother. Though the singer has yet to confirm or deny the never-ending pregnancy rumors, the National Enquirer (supposedly) knows what’s up: twins! (NEWSER) - Celebrities tend to choose some very, er, interesting names for their offspring, but this year two names stood out: Bear Blu Jarecki, born to Alicia Silverstone, and Moroccan Cannon, born to Mariah Carey. Those two tied for the worst celebrity baby boy names of 2011 on a new BabyNames.com poll, ABC News reports. The worst baby girl name "award" went to Zuzu Audrey Peterson, daughter of a former Top Chef Just Desserts contestant. Poll respondents also didn't like the name Mirabella Bunny, daughter to Bryan Adams, or Kevin James' choice for his son, Kannon. More»
