Rick Perry Talks Obama Birth Certificate

'Trump doesn't think Obama birth certificate is real,' he tells interviewer

(Newser) – Is Rick Perry the new birther candidate? The Texas governor told Parade he's incapable of reaching a definitive conclusion as to whether Barack Obama's publicly released birth certificate is "real," though he ultimately pirouettes away from the controversial issue. When asked in yesterday in Parade if he thought the president was born in the US, he carefully offered: "I have no reason to think otherwise."

Perry was told by the interviewer that wasn't a definitive answer ("Well, I don’t have a definitive answer," he responds), and was reminded that he has seen the president's birth certificate. "Have I?" Perry asked. He then mentioned that he has discussed Obama's birth certificate with Donald Trump, who "doesn't think it's real." When pressed further, Perry responded: "It doesn't matter. He's the president. It's a distractive issue."

Good lord...what in heaven's name is Perry drinking...or injecting? Limbaugh, Beck, et al.. and now you....dragging this old, dusty, idiotical accusation out for more discussion? Amazing.....what is his problem? Can Perry read? Think? Does he need a video tape and after birth signed by a witnessing judge of his actual U.S. birth to accept it?! ? Does he think there are millions and millions of Republican voters he can entice to vote for him as PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES because of his intellect and insight and political experience? !Amazing...just amazing...Perry should run for dog catcher on Mars! America needs a strong two party system...we need intelligent, experienced, articulate candidates from both parties...with ideas, plans, opinions etc. Are these present Republican candidates the best to be found ? This Perry clown is at the back of the "wanna be " presidential parade. What is happening to the Republican party???
