Well, he needed something to do after stepping down as PM

(Newser) – Grab your holiday wish list, because you are definitely going to want to add this to it: Coming out on Tuesday is a CD of love songs penned by none other than former Italian prime minister and famed bunga bunga party thrower Silvio Berlusconi. Apparently Berlusconi once worked as a cruise ship singer—and the Telegraph notes that he is known to sing at those bunga bunga parties—but tragically, you won’t hear his vocal stylings on this album.

Rather, Mariano Apicella will sing the songs written by the former PM; the two have released similar collaborations before. The songs, Apicella says, deal with unrequited love and longing. Sample lyrics: "I run my hands down your side, because it's you. I adore you and I already miss you.” Want more? “Another day of wind and rain, another night without you.” Don’t act so surprised; Berlusconi always had a way with words.

The 81-year-old billionaire played ukulele and sang "I've Been Working on the Railroad" for one of the most-watched TV programs in the world—China Central Television's New Year's show. The clip aired on CCTV's website, Bloomberg reports. “Xie xie,” said Buffett as he finished, Chinese for "thank you." The Oracle of Omaha is a significant investor in Chinese carmaker BYD Co. (NEWSER) - You can currently catch a performance of John Cage's "Organ²/ASLSP(As SLow aS Possible)" in Halberstadt, Germany—and your great-great-great-(OK, do that 15 more times)-grandchild will be able to catch the end of it. The Washington Post takes a look at the most unusual concert, currently in its 10th year and scheduled to end in 2640. Cage himself did not pick that end-date; 639 years is the length of time between the construction of the first church organ and the 2001 start of his performance, which coincided with Cage's 85th birthday.
