(Newser) – Lady Gaga may be the queen of Twitter, but Britney Spears is the queen of Google+. The pop star recently overtook Google CEO Larry Page to become the most-followed person on the social network, PC Magazine reports. The top five, along with their number of followers as of Social Statistics' last reporting:

  1. Britney Spears: 772,589
  2. Larry Page: 761,686

  1. Snoop Dogg: 656,731 (amusing side note: He's listed as a "spiritual adviser.")
  2. Mark Zuckerberg: 611,270 (amusing side note: He hasn’t actually shared anything on the site.)
  3. Tyra Banks: 547,014
Spears also, it should be noted, overtook Ashton Kutcher on Twitter last year.

This is akin to being the king of toilets when we all have diarrhea...we have 'em, but would prefer not to be there.

Britney Spears is insignificant. Jesus accomplished more during his time on earth. Question: Does Britney Spears donate any part of her massive fortune to help the poor? Poverty is rampant all over the world.
