(Newser) – With the feds cracking down on medical marijuana shops, what's a responsible provider to do? Turn to the dope delivery man. More and more California operations are using medical marijuana couriers to get their weed into the hands of those who need it, operators tell the San Francisco Chronicle. Medithrive, for one example, was a pot dispensary in San Francisco that was forced to close last month and has re-emerged as a delivery-only service. "It just makes sense," says an attorney who represents a Ukiah pot delivery operation. "When you have a storefront, you're on the map. You don't have those issues with a delivery service. No one's going to know about it."

The trend is blossoming from San Diego—which has some 100 operations listed on WeedMaps.com—to Humboldt County. "It's like water," said an LA assistant city attorney. "You close off one pathway, and it morphs and goes in another direction."

You just KNOW they'll get their deliveries pinched. Two types of people in this world:  Those who pinch; and those who pinch, but lie about it.

Please support these delivery services.   We need them so domestic marijuana supply can stop the demand for Mexican drugs and the Mexican drug war violence.
