(Newser) – What to get for the guy who has everything? If you're Angelina Jolie and the guy is Brad Pitt, the answer is ... a waterfall. That's what Pitt got for Christmas from Jolie, but if it makes you feel any better, it was also a combo gift for his 48th birthday. "Brad has always loved [Frank Lloyd Wright's house] Fallingwater and his first trip there was unforgettable," a friend explains to the Daily Mail. Jolie bought the Los Angeles-area waterfall and its surrounding land so that Pitt can build his own house there, inspired by Wright's design.

"Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special and, because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect," the source continues. "She hopes this will be a hideaway for the family. Brad has dreamed of a home with the sound of a waterfall cascading under the house." He's also always wanted to design his own home, the friend adds. (According to a People poll, Pitt and Jolie are America's No. 2 favorite would-be celebrity neighbors. So what --she has the money to buy her man whatever she wants to -- one thing i do know from experience, if you build/or live too close to the waterfall, (or any natural running water) you will be hearing that water(fall) 24/7 --and it DOES get annoying after a time lololol ... but think of all the fun they will have running thru it with the kids...wow his own LEGENDS OF THE (Water) FALL lololol

Buying this land site is wonderful, nature at its best. But a building on it to follow Frank Wright's buildings... That is the difficult part because till now no one seemed to really follow Frank Wright s work. As an example falling water was designed with perfectly balanced masses, using 30, 45 and 60 degrees to balance the masses from one room corner to another. A wonderful masterpiece, also with nature's materials being carried into the building with the same materials that are outside the building. But Frank Lloyd Wright made big improvements with his buildings, from a static state into the beginning of a fluid state at the Guggenheim Museum at New York. Now research improvements have been made using spirals. The big bang theory follows spiral systems, the planets, the path they line up on seems to follow a spiral, a shell from the beach, a tree with its rings , and everything in nature including people with a double DNA spiral. Now we can use interaction of spirals with reference points from the stars and follow natures system to designing buildings that are fluid inside and out. What is new with this research from Spherism Inc. that started its architectural research work in 1976. Spherism Inc. has shown the buildings can be designed completely different from each other in a sub division, yet they flow into each other like a symphony. Keeping in mind the Spherism belongs to everyone, as we are all part of it. Good luck to Brad and Angelina to your future home and may this Happy Year be a blessed one. Paulnil@live.ca
