Tracy Morgan Hospitalized

Rep cites exhaustion at Sundance Film Festival

(Newser) – Tracy Morgan was hospitalized last night after he passed out at the Sundance Film Festival. The 30 Rock star seemed intoxicated as he accepted an award in Utah; afterward, he was escorted from the building, where he fainted, TMZ reports. An ambulance took him to a local hospital. A hospital rep said doctors found no evidence of drugs or alcohol, and a spokesman for Morgan said he was suffering from "a combination of exhaustion and altitude."

Isn't Tracy diabetic?  He's presenting symptoms of certain kinds of blood sugar problems, isn't he?

While I also doubt the hospital's claim, I find it funny that none of you have apparently ever been somewhere at a high altitude for a considerable period when you are not used to it. Symptoms include light-headedness and very "drunk-like" slurring. You can also most certainly faint from it. I'm not saying he WASN'T drunk, I have no idea really ... but at least the explanation IS PLAUSIBLE. Occam's razor, people ...

When the rest of us "faint" while intoxicated, it's usually called a blackout or piss drunk.
