(Newser) – Ahh, Starbucks. Land of the $4 cappuccino ... and $23.60 Frappuccino? That's the final tally one man managed to ring up on his quest to order the most expensive Starbucks drink ever. Logan Warren started by requesting the largest size beverage, the 31-ounce Trenta. Into it went a Java Chip Frappuccino, enhanced with plenty of that'll-cost-you-add-ons: 16 shots of espresso, soy milk, caramel, banana and strawberry purees, vanilla beans, and Matcha and protein powders, all topped with a bit of caramel and mocha.

If that sounds gross, well, Warren went so far as to explain on Geek on Call that it was "not good," describing it as a coffee-drink-slash-smoothie that tasted "like Jillian Michaels with a touch of Chuck Norris." And while the 1,400mg of caffeine might not have been great for his body, it didn't hurt his wallet: He had a coupon for a free drink.

This is not a trenta.

Caffeine in large quantities has an unpleasant flavor. I remember the caffeine diet pills of the 90s...Or was theat the 80s? Anyway a Carastrawnanacocoajava doesn't sound like it would taste that bad.

Overpriced coffee for an overpriced "business". Starsucks Coffee deserves Monopoly money for their crappy drinks. I'ld rather see Starbucks file for Chapter 13 than to continue on in business. Boycott Starbucks!!!
