(Newser) – At least four people were killed and dozens wounded today as protests over the burning of copies of the Koran at Bagram Air Force Base swept across Afghanistan. Police shot and killed two demonstrators outside of Bagram, and one each in Logar Province and Kabul, Reuters reports. In the capital, 21 people, including 11 police, were wounded, as protesters threw stones, smashed vehicles and windows, and set fire to a housing compound where American contractors live.

The US embassy tweeted that it was "on lockdown; all travel suspended. Please, everyone, be safe out there." Protesters were heard crying, "Long live Mullah Omar!" referring to the Taliban leader, and "Death to America! Death to Karzai!" The outrage wasn't limited to the streets, either; parliament passed a resolution demanding the Koran burners be punished, and several lawmakers shouted "death to America!" inside the chamber. A senior military official tells the Washington Post that the Korans had been removed from the base's prison library because they had radical messages scrawled in them.

It's always the same with team Obama (the clueless), whether it's burning the Holy Koran, or killing innocent civilians, they just keep offering more poor excuses. -- The worldwide Muslim world has to put up with (the clueless) Obama, because America elected Obama (the clueless), and Biden (the helpless), as President/vice-President of America, and who are helpless and clueless, in recognizing any-body's customs, and insulting other peoples, and ignoring their killing of innocents, and are helpless and clueless, and contribute the most to the chaos, madness, and violence, in the world today. -- Pray America doesn't re-elect the (clueless) Obama, and (the helpless) Biden again. --- They just keep acting helpless and clueless, and now stupid, to adding to the chaos, madness, and violence worldwide. -- PRAY

US personnel burned some Korans, and it was an accident?   I expected it to have been part of some kind of defense of Jesus ceremony.

And they wonder why we laugh at them don't take them seriously. This kind of nonsense indicates that we're dealing with assclowns...dangerous assclowns but assclowns nonetheless.
